Water drops on CD Methodology
Date: 20th March
I used a tripod in this shoot to keep the camera steady, to enable me to capture sharp photographs when using long exposure.
WWW: I gathered a variety of photographs, I gathered some which were captured with a long exposure and light sources, where others were captured with more colourful light sources and double exposure. I think the colours and patterns that I created in my photographs are exciting and interesting. I experimented with the exposure and aperture, which worked well, as I captured double exposure photographs, which I find interesting. I captured some photographs which were double exposure, however I think this worked well. Some photographs were more colourful than others. I think the water drops in the photographs have focused well, and I like how they have reflected the light, as well as the CD. Overall I think this shoot went well because I captured photographs, that I found through inspiration, and I captured what I intended to.
EBI: Although I gathered a wide range of photographs, if I did this again, I would attempt to use different colour lights, to create a more variety of colours, rather than patches of colour on the CD, I would prefer if the colour was all over. I sometimes had a issue with the background colour, I used multiple pieces of black paper underneath the CDs to create a dark background. However, sometimes lines of the paper is visible, so if I was to do this again I would be sure to try and darken the background or use a bigger piece of paper.
