Bokeh Methodology
Date: 7th March
In this shoot I used fairy lights to create circles of bokeh, and I also used multiple jars to create the illusion of the lights pouring into the jars. I placed the lights on a shelf, to help create this illusion, of them pouring into the jar. What Went Well - I think the way that I focused the jars well with the lights blurred out, this seemed work well overall. I like how the lights reflect through the jar, creating different shapes. I used colourful fairy lights, and I think this helped to make the photographs interesting, as it brought more colour and excitement to the photographs. EBI - If I was to do this shoot again, I would create 'discs' or 'slides' to put on the front of the camera lens, this would create different shapes of bokeh, for example stars, hearts or diamonds. I think this could create very exciting and interesting photographs. Another thing I would do to ensure this shoot was better, is to use a bigger space, I needed a long space to be able to focus on the jar as well as have the lights blurred. If I had a bigger space it would be easier to take the photographs, this way I could also gather more photographs. |
